20/6 X 190 X 1860MM

190 Oak Nature engineered floor has a face width of 190mm and 20mm thickness with a 6mm solid oak wear layer and is finished with 6 coats of UV floor lacquer to give a smooth finish.

This engineered oak floor comes with board lengths of 1860mm.

Please note only 75% boards are fixed lengths of 1860mm

The engineered oak Natural Grade means this floor will come with some knots and colour variation for a natural looking floor.

This engineered oak floor can be installed by Nail or sticking down to the existing subfloor or by floating on underlay.

There are several reasons why you might consider buying 20/6 x 190 engineered oak lacquered wooden flooring. Here are some potential advantages:

  1. Durability and Protection: The 20/6 specification indicates a 20mm total thickness with a 6mm wear layer. This construction provides durability and strength to the flooring, making it resistant to wear and tear. The lacquered finish adds an extra layer of protection to the wood, making it more resistant to scratches, stains, and moisture. This can be particularly beneficial in high-traffic areas or homes with children or pets.

  2. Easy Maintenance: Lacquered wooden flooring is relatively easy to clean and maintain. The smooth and sealed surface makes it more resistant to dirt and spills, allowing for easier and quicker cleanup. Regular sweeping or vacuuming, along with occasional damp mopping, should be sufficient to keep the floor looking good.

  3. Enhanced Appearance: The lacquer finish can enhance the natural beauty of the oak grain, giving the flooring a glossy or semi-glossy appearance. This can add an attractive aesthetic element to your space, providing a touch of elegance and sophistication. The uniform sheen of the lacquer can also create a more consistent and polished look throughout the room.

  4. Time and Cost Savings: Engineered oak flooring is designed to be installed quickly and easily. The click-lock system eliminates the need for glue or nails, allowing for a hassle-free installation process. Additionally, the lacquered finish means you won't have to apply a separate sealant or finish, saving you time and potentially reducing installation costs.

  5. Moisture Resistance: Engineered wood flooring is generally more resistant to moisture than solid wood. While not entirely waterproof, the lacquered finish provides an extra layer of protection against spills and moisture penetration. However, it's important to note that excessive moisture exposure should still be avoided, and proper maintenance and cleaning guidelines should be followed.

Ultimately, the decision to buy 20/6 x 190 engineered oak lacquered wooden flooring depends on your personal preferences, the specific requirements of your space, and your budget. It's also advisable to consider factors such as the specific manufacturer, the quality of the engineered wood, and the warranty provided. Consulting with a flooring professional or supplier can help ensure that the flooring meets your needs and fits your desired aesthetic.
